It's important to me to get you thru the arc of a day musically. Quite a few of the tunes are feel good songs, geared toward giving little "pick me ups" to keep your day bright. We'll also play the best classics ever made. And we have some of the greatest "love" or "love lost" songs ever made (depending on what you're feeling in the moment}. We'll play plenty of both every day.
Most of our rap will be "music-centric" with some topical, entertainment and human interest stuff sprinkled in. I like to keep the music rolling fluidly, so I don't talk much. But I try to get in several thoughts of interest in a very quick manner over the course of the day.
Look forward to serving you up the tunes and I look forward to hearing from you. You can always check me out at Iheartradio.com Keyword: Cope OR follow me as CopeRocks on TWITTER.COM
There's still time to vote for your favorite Nominee for The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame of 2014. The top 4 are Kiss, Nirvana, Deep Purple and Yes. 5 will make up a fans ballot. (it helps a little but a fan ballot only makes up one of 600, but my thought process is that if the commitee members see how the fans voted, it could influence their hand as well...like a lobbyist)

We hear Mick Jagger is about to become a great grandfather. Which means his young 42 year old daughter is gonna be a grandmother. I guess Mick did it right. Making it to great grandfather with a relatively young grandmother daughter gives him a chance to play with the great grandkids. He's pretty healthy (he has to be to keep his energy level where it is to "Move like Jagger!" He'll be around a long, long time.
This is the guy who said in the 70's when he was 33 that he'd rather be dead at 45 than be playing "Satisfaction!" If he had died then he wouldn't have seen his daughter grow up and have kids and grandkids.
