It's important to me to get you thru the arc of a day musically. Quite a few of the tunes are feel good songs, geared toward giving little "pick me ups" to keep your day bright. We'll also play the best classics ever made. And we have some of the greatest "love" or "love lost" songs ever made (depending on what you're feeling in the moment}. We'll play plenty of both every day.
Most of our rap will be "music-centric" with some topical, entertainment and human interest stuff sprinkled in. I like to keep the music rolling fluidly, so I don't talk much. But I try to get in several thoughts of interest in a very quick manner over the course of the day.
Look forward to serving you up the tunes and I look forward to hearing from you. You can always check me out at Iheartradio.com Keyword: Cope OR follow me as CopeRocks on TWITTER.COM
Now that actor Sacha Baron Cohen has pulled out of the role of Freddie Mercury in a movie about the late Queen singer’s life, the writer of the film, Peter Morgan, says it is “probably not going to happen.”
This is news to Brian May who says, “He reckons?” May and Roger Taylor, along with Queen manager Jim Beach, are behind the film. Cohen reportedly left over creative differences, with word out of the U.K. saying he wanted to create a gritty, R-rated film that depicted Mercury's highs and lows, but the surviving members of Queen are more interested in a positive portrayal.
Should've given Sacha a chance. He was extremely serious about this particular role. Queen will be performing at the sold out I Heart Radio music festival in Las Vegas.
